The challenge: An East West facing large dwelling plus shed. It was very dark inside and had no connection to the surrounding lands, but showed beautiful roof trusses. Extensive renovations were made to the internal living space which actually made it smaller after the completion of work. This was due to the removal of one bedroom and one bathroom on the northern end, turning the area into an outdoor deck which was the key to this successful renovation. Turning the shed into a secondary guest dwelling with an old concrete water tank transformed into a plunge pool was also a delight.
